Colonial American influence has been interpreted with an English perspective. The handcrafted furniture in this kitchen has special ice-box handles and hinges (from the US), which were then nickel-plated in the UK. Sub-Zero fridges frame the large range, and the substantial island links the kitchen with the rest of the large dining/living area.
